On the sunny Thanksgiving morning, we packed up our things from Oreland Motel in Flin Flon and hit the road for Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Under the big blue sky, we thought we would take a bit of detour and take a leisurely cruise through the beautiful Prince Albert National Park.

As soon as we arrived back in Thompson from Churchill, we fuelled up and headed to our next destination, the quaint mining town of Flin Flon, Manitoba. On Friday October 2nd, we continued East from Saskatoon arriving in The Pas, Manitoba in the afternoon. The Pas (pronounced “the paw”) is situated just beyond the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border, 630km northwest of Winnipeg and is considered the Gateway to the North. After checking into our hotel, we set out to discover Clearwater Lake Provincial Park (as recommended by a friendly Northern Manitoban).

The morning of September 30th, we reluctantly packed up our camp in Jasper National Park and hit the road to Saskatoon, SK.
